Microchipping

More Info
  • Microchipping

A microchip is recommended by the RSPCA as an effective way of permanently linking pets to their owners, increasing the chances of them being reunited if the animal is lost, stolen or strays.

Thousands of pets are lost every year and many are never reunited with their owners. The RSPCA believes that the best way to ensure a lost dog, cat or rabbit is found is to have it microchipped - implanted with a special microchip tag.

  • The RSPCA Walsall branch hold microchipping clinics on occasion. These will be advertised on our events page. At any other time, dogs can be microchipped at Lucy Wagtails in Brownhills who do it for £10 for the RSPCA clients. Call 01543 373100 and tell them you want to have an animal microchipped via the RSPCA scheme.
