Rabbits For Adoption

WE DO NOT HAVE AN ANIMAL CENTRE YOU CAN VISIT.

All of the animals in our care are housed in foster homes until they are rehomed. In view of this, if you would like to adopt a particular animal, we will do a home visit prior to you viewing the animal in the foster home. This is to safeguard our volunteers and limit the amount of stress to the animals. If you feel any of the animals here are what you are looking for, contact us to discuss your needs, and we can access your compatibility. Getting the right sized accommodation for your rabbits is vital, especially for passing an rspca homecheck. We have found many pet shops are selling undersized hutches, claiming they are large enough for 2 rabbits when they are clearly not.

To avoid people buying the wrong sizes, we have put some links below to websites which sell hutches that are the correct size. For a pair of rabbits you need to buy a 6ft long by 2ft deep by 2ft high hutch, or if you prefer a two tiered hutch, you need to buy 5ft long by 2ft deep by 2 ft height on each level. These are minimum sizes so we welcome larger sizes too. You will also need to purchase a large rabbit run, we recommend a 6ft x 4ft size. It is advisable to avoid runs made of chicken wire as they are unsafe and can easily allow foxes in. Alternatively you can buy a hutch with an attached run, but the attached run is not considered as part of the hutch size.

There are obviously other websites that supply hutches, but here are a few we found that have good sized hutches. We cannot vouch for the quality however, only the sizes.
