Subsidised Neutering Scheme
We offer a subsidised neutering scheme for people on means tested benefits
in the Walsall area (WS1 to WS10 excluding WS6).
Our scheme is available to anyone who is on means tested benefits including
Income Support, Jobseekers Allowance, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit or
Pension Credit. We will need to see proof of benefit before you animal is neutered.
Walsall RSPCA will issue you with a voucher to cover 50% of the cost. You
will then have to pay the remaining 50% direct to the vets when you take your
animal in to be neutered. The vouchers we issue are for the following amounts:
Dog Castrate: From £35 - £70 (depending on size of dog)
Bitch Spay: From £40 - £80 (depending on size of dog)
Cat Castrate: £12
Cat Spay: £15
Rabbit Castrate: £20
Rabbit Spay: £25
Please note the above prices are approximate and are to be used as a guide.
The vouchers can only be used at our designated vets and can not be used at
your own vets.
